Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Spy Bestie mobile application (the "App"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Spy Bestie is a fictional mystery game in which you investigate simulated cases by exploring a simulated phone. All characters, messages, photos, and scenarios within the App are entirely fictional and created for entertainment purposes. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to actual events is purely coincidental.

The App does not access, read, or interact with any real personal data on your device. The "phone" you explore is part of the game.

2. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or related systems
• Use the App in any manner that violates the App Store terms of service

4. Subscriptions

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium content. The following terms apply to subscriptions:

• Subscription types. We offer weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscription options. Specific pricing is shown within the App before you purchase and may vary by country and region.
• Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the applicable subscription.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple App Store account settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Free trials or promotional offers. If a free trial or promotional offer is provided, any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Because all purchases are made through the Apple App Store, Apple's terms and conditions also apply to your subscription.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including all content, characters, artwork, text, cases, designs, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, these Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property.

6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (including Apple and RevenueCat for purchases and subscription management, and infrastructure providers for backend services). Your use of the App may be subject to those third parties' terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected.

The App is intended for entertainment only. Its fictional cases and content should not be interpreted as advice of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, the license granted to you will end, and you must stop using the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Age Requirement

The App is intended for a mature audience and is not directed at children. By using the App, you represent that you meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction and by the App's age rating.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction of residence, to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection law.
